Westlake Hills Elementary

The school has a student representative that works with student council on signage and being visible to educate and assist students on the process. They also have parent representatives that work as liaisons.

The school collects recycling from students in the lunch area and in the classroom. They planned to have parents drop off their recycling once per week to help in their efforts to raise money.

The school’s student recycling representative highlights important recycling tips and information at weekly assemblies and the school passes out stickers to students using reusable items in their lunchboxes, and/or practicing good recycling habits.
